The body of the modern car is a product of scientifically
research and engineering thought. Each detail and

by designers.

Sedan – two- or four-door, four-five-seater, with
separate volumes for the engine, passengers and luggage;
The versatile person – the car with the carload form
of a body, is used for transportation of people and
cargoes;
Cabriolet – the four-six-seater car with a collapsible
roof and demountable walls of lateral windows;
The limousine – the car of high level of comfort,
the driver is separated from passengers by a glass
partition;
Compartment – the double car with two occasional seats
on a back seat.
The body is a bearing element of a design. To it elements
of a running gear and the chassis fasten. It reduces
weight of the car, reduces its general height so,
and the centre of gravity, doing the car steadier.
However this bearing design creates difficulties for
a salon noise isolation. Comfortable high-class cars
have a frame design.
